Stephen King apparently has a lot to discuss with the daughter of the widely notorious BTK serial killer. King has an upcoming movie entitled, "A Good Marriage," and it has been confirmed to be inspired from the murders of the aforementioned criminal.
Kerri Rawson, the daughter of the BTK serial killer, told The Wichita Eagle in her very first interview since her father, Dennis Rader, was caught back in 20005, "He's exploiting my father's 10 victims and their families."
Stephen King's upcoming flick, which has been scheduled to open on Friday, actually stars Anthony LaPaglia and Joan Allen. The premise revolves around a wife who eventually finds out that her husband is actually a serial killer.
Since Rader was captured and detained at the El Dorado Correctional Facility in Kansas, where he is presently serving 10 consecutive life sentences, Rawson has never paid a visit.
Still, despite the fact that she has somehow become further estranged from her father, she knows him too well. She has insisted that Rader, who is a big fan of Stephen King and his work, would get a sick high just knowing that he was the inspiration of the story.
Rawson said, "He's just going to give my father a big head, and he absolutely does not need that. Great - Now, Stephen King is giving my father a big head. Thanks for that. That's the last thing my dad should get."
Additionally, what Rawson finds particularly upsetting are the insinuations in Stephen King's movie that she, her brother, and mother Paula, knew of Rader's secret agenda. Paula reportedly divorced from Rader shortly after his was arrested after his killing spree that went on for 30 years.
Rawson stated, "No way could she have known. She wouldn't have raised us with him." The Wichita police believe the very same thing. However, FBI profiler, John Douglas, whose 2007 book "Inside the Mind of BTK" chronicled the case, learned from certain sources that Paula actually had hints that there was something terribly wrong with her husband.
According to Douglas, she oftentimes caught him hanging himself while wearing women's clothing during the late 1970s. She was merely unable to connect the dots that her husband was the BTK serial killer, which actually stands for bind, torture, kill.
