Tracy Morgan Still Recovering; SNL Alum Blamed By Walmart For Allegedly Not Wearing Seatbelts

Tracy Morgan's current battle with Walmart is actually just one of the battles that he has to wage right now. The other battle is regaining his health and, hopefully, his career in the entertainment industry.

Almost four months after the accident happened, which was actually a six-car pileup, Tracy Morgan has been spotted being taken to his doctor in Manhattan. The accident left him in critical condition and he had to stay in the hospital's intensive care unit for a long time.

Tracy Morgan was seen sitting on a wheelchair on Wednesday as he was wheeled into Mount Sinai Hospital. The 45-year-old comedian did not look very happy to see cameras aimed at his direction and kept on saying, quite tersely, "no comment" whenever he was asked on the status of his health condition.

Benedict Morelli, his lawyer, has told Page Six that the SNL alum continues to undergo rigorous rehabilitation processes after the crash on June 7th. The treatment includes cognitive, physical, daily speech, and vocational therapies.

Moreover, Morelli also told Star-Ledger that his client, who suffered a broken leg, broken ribs, and a broken nose, is presently "making incremental progress." However, he did admit that Tracy Morgan still was not supposed to put all of his weight on his legs and had to keep using a wheelchair. According to Morelli, they will "have to wait another month before they assess him cognitively."

According to his lawyer, it still remains unclear if his client will be able to perform again. He said, "The jury's still out. The doctors don't know the answer. I don't know the answer."

Tracy Morgan, and the other passengers, filed a lawsuit against Walmart, accusing the company of negligence. However, Walmart responded to this lawsuit, alleging that Tracy Morgan's group would not have acquired serious injuries if they were wearing seatbelts.

Tracy Morgan answered in a statement, "After I heart what Walmart said in court, I felt I had to speak out. I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong. I want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time."
