Samsung Galaxy Note 4 VS iPhone 6: 'Gapgate' VS 'Bendgate' Issue, Specs, Features And More [REVIEW]

The Apple iPhone 6 might have found a worthy opponent in Samsung Galaxy Note 4. However, following the latest on the iPhone 6 "bendgate," there's also an issue on the Note 4 "gapgate." Are both really an issue and between the iPhone 6 and Note 4 which is the better phone?

First up is display between the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. While the iPhone 6 boasts of a 5.5 inch LCD with "Retina HD," the Note 4 boasts of an AMOLED display and Quad HD resolution. Clearly, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the winner given Apple's iPhone 6 display falls short with its' display on the same range with the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Next is the processor. The iPhone 6 still stuck to its 1GZ dual-core configuration with the addition of an A8 coprocessor but it still doesn't beat the advantage of the Note 4's quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 905 processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 4s processor is built for multitasking whereas the Apple iPhone 6 loses.

Third to note is the battery life. Early reports claim that the iPhone 6 has a longer battery life that can last up to one and a half day compared to its predecessors. Naturally, the Note 4 wins again in this round given the features Ultra Power Saving Mode and Power Saving Mode wherein the battery life reaches up to seven days.

As for the reported issues between the Apple iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the iPhone 6 suffered the "bendgate" problem while the Note 4 had the "gapgate" issue. While the "bendgate" problem for the iPhone 6 is reportedly exaggerated, the "gapgate" issue isn't a big deal for Note users. Earlier versions of Samsung Galaxy Note phones featured the "gapgate" but didn't necessarily affect the phones' performance or features.
