Lakers Rumors: Kobe Bryant Beats James Harden as Top Shooting Guard in NBA 2K15; Full Rankings

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant is still the best shooting guard on the planet, as he bested Houston Rockets' scoring machine James Harden in the NBA 2k15 rankings released by 2K Sports.

Bryant, who playing like his vintage self at training camp after appearing just six games last season due to a myriad of injuries, got a rating score of 89 from 2KSports' top basketball simulation video game.

After undergoing surgeries to fix his ruptured Achilles Heel and lingering pain in his knee, the 36-year old star went through months of intense strength and conditioning workouts to recapture his old form pre-injury. And so far, Bryant's hardwork is paying off as he has been the most dominant player in the Lakers training camp.

For Bryant, being ranked higher than younger shooting guards (James Harden, Klay Thompson and Dwyane Wade) is a testament that the Black Mamba is still a force to be reckoned with after 18 seasons in the league.

Harden, who considered himself as the best shooting guard in the league, is the next best-rated shooting guard in the NBA 2k15 with a score of 88, while Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade rounded out the top-3 in the off-guard position with 86.

Meanwhile, small forwards LeBron James of Cleveland Cavaliers and Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder occupied the top-two spots overall, garnering 98 and 95, respectively. Los Angeles Clippers Chris Paul is the best point guard with 91, while Tim Duncan (90) and Dwight Howard (88) are the cream of the crop at the power forward and center position.
