Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever news Update 2014: Death Toll Increases Further As Dogs Can Potentially Spread the Virus

News about the Ebola hemorrhagic fever continue to cause panic as latest update reveals ongoing increase in death toll as the disease spread all over the world while new reports claim that it could result to the presence of zombies in the future.

People in Africa who became the first target of the deadly disease during the outbreak in Guinea on late last year are not the only ones who are becoming afraid since the virus already starts to spread in different places. The increase in the death toll is becoming more alarming, especially that already half of the infected population is dead. What is more threatening about the situation is that no drug is yet known to cure the contagious condition.

According to a recent update from the World Health Organization, more than 3,000 people are already dead from the 7,000 plus infected individuals. News also suggests that a new Ebola hemorrhagic fever case is detected in Texas. The infected patient traveled from Liberia before arriving in the state on September 19.

Although the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have already attempted to contain the disease, its spread is still inevitable. Aside from the huge possibility of transmission of the disease through the infected person's body fluids such as sweat and saliva, new reports also claim that dogs are also being held responsible for spreading the plague. According to the report, the animals are digging the graves and eating the corpses infected with the Ebola hemorrhagic fever; thus, the possibility of spread is high especially when the dogs will try to lick or bite humans.

On the other hand, as news reveals the increasing death toll of the infected patients, there are also claims suggesting that two of the dead patients are turning into zombies as they are brought back to life. Two women who died from Ebola hemorrhagic fever reportedly resurrected before sent for burial; however, no substantial information is presented as a proof.
