Leaked Celebrity Photos: Google Sued For ‘Accommodating, Facilitating And Perpetuating’ Nude Photo Leak Scandal

Leaked celebrity photos have become rampant lately. The alleged nude photos of some of today's biggest female celebrities have somehow made their way online. It turned out that a skilled hacker was able to hack into iCloud, grabbed their private photos, and posted them all over the Internet for everyone to feast their eyes on.

This leaked celebrity photos fiasco started a month ago and the celebrities who were involved in the scandal want those photos off the Internet. However, anyone who knows how to use the search engine can easily gain access to these photos as they have not been removed from the World Wide Web yet.

A law firm, which is representing more than a dozen of the female celebrities who were involved in the leaked celebrity photos scandal, is now threatening to sue Google for $100 million. Apparently, Google is going to be sued after they allegedly failed to get rid of the images from its search results.

In a letter that was sent to Google, which was leaked to the New York Post, top Hollywood attorney Marty Singer accused the big search engine of "accommodating, facilitating, and perpetuating" the distribution of the private images and even claimed that Google is very much liable for "both compensatory and punitive damages."

Singer's law firm, Lavely & Singer, has also heavily criticized Google's "shocking" decision to protect its revenue stream partners, so that they can continue to earn "multi millions of dollars on a weekly basis" over the rigs and protection of individuals.

Singer said, "Google knows that the images are hacked stolen property, private and confidential photos and videos unlawfully obtained and posted by pervert predators who are violating the victims' privacy rights. Yet, Google has taken little or no action to stop these outrageous violations."

Moreover, since the victims of the leaked celebrity photos are known people, Singer stated, "If your wives, daughters, or relatives were the victims of such blatant violations of basic human rights, you would surely take appropriate action. But, because the victims are celebrities with valuable publicity rights you do nothing - nothing but collect millions of dollars in advertising revenue, as you seek to capitalize on this scandal rather than quash it."
