American Sniper Trailer Now Out; Bradley Cooper Acts As Navy SEAL Chief Chris Kyle, Most Lethal Sniper In US History [VIDEO]

American Sniper trailer has just been released. "American Sniper" is an up-and-coming movie that stars "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Bradley Cooper as a Navy SEAL, named Chris Kyle. Kyle is apparently the most lethal and dangerous sniper in American history.

American Sniper trailer is directed by Clint Eastwood from a script that was written by Jason hall. It is a true-to-life story that is based on Kyle's memoir, which, in turn, was No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list for 13 weeks.

Cooper is joined by other celebrities in the American Sniper trailer such as, Navid Negahban, Luke Grimes, Keir O'Donnell, Sienna Miller, and Jake McDorman.

Originally, it was Steven Spielberg who was set to direct this upcoming movie, as a follow-up film to his recent "Lincoln." However, Spielberg opted to drop out in August last year for unknown reasons.

The premise of the American Sniper trailer follows Kyle's life, from being merely a rodeo cowboy to becoming a SEAL Chief who had the highest number of sniper kills in the history of American military. This is actually the first time that Cooper gets to portray the life of a Navy SEAL Chief. He has always been privy to roles of a hopeless romantic, an FBI agent, and even a somewhat relentless party animal.

The short video clip also gives the audience a tiny peek into the personal life of Kyle, as he marries his wife Taya Renae, who is played by Miller. In another scene shown in the American Sniper trailer, Kyle and Renae show their affection for their newborn baby.

The producers are Cooper, Eastwood, Peter Morgan, Andrew Lazar, and Robert Lorenz, while Sheroum Kim, Bruce Berman, Jason Hall, and Tim Moore will be the film's executive producers. Warner Bros. opens the film and is presented to be in association with Village Roadshow. The American Sniper trailer will be premiering on the big screen on Christmas Day.
