Six Flags Fright Fest 2014 was supposed to be an enjoyable evening for three guests. However, the fright night turned into a fight night when over two hundred teens got involved in a fight at the parks' parking lot. Ironically, the night did turn out to be a "fright fest" for guests in the area.
Three people have been confirmed to be injured following the parking lot fight at the Six Flags Fright Fest 2014. One of the three injured is reported to be in a critical condition. According to eye witness events, over 200 kids were involved in the fight. What started the attack in the first place?
"It was absolutely horrific. There were huge massive groups that you could not even stop when they're running past you, you're holding to the side letting them go because there are so many kids," stated the eyewitness in a report by WJLA.
A group of patrons were reported exiting the Six Flags Fright Fest 2014 Park but then something had happened that involved a huge fight in the parking lot. Added reports that over six fights occurred at the parking lot.
Despite the altercation that occurred at the park, Six Flags Fright Fest 2014 continues every weekend until the 2nd of November. A spokesperson for the park claimed that the reports of the fight were inaccurate and that only one guest was injured. After the fight at Six Flags Fright Fest 2014, security has been beefed up.
"The unacceptable behavior and events that occurred yesterday, acted out by some unsupervised youth, are in no way typical behavior for our park or the surrounding area. The safety of our guests is our number-one priority and while this was an isolated incident, we are taking steps to make sure it cannot be repeated," stated Marketing & Communications manager, Havilah Ross with regards to the Six Flags Fright Fest 2014 incident.
