National Coffee Day 2014: Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts And Many More Join The Celebration - What Freebies, Promos Can You Take Advantage Of Today?

It's National Coffee Day 2014 this Monday, and surely everyone's excited to wake up early to join the celebration. But aside from Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, where else can you and your pals flock to get the best coffee promos and freebies?

According to CNN Money, while the National Coffee Day celebration is just a marketing stunt for many cafes and chains to sell more caffeinated drinks this Monday, it is very likely that everyone will end up with the upper hand if they join the celebration.

In line with the National Coffee Day 2014, Starbucks is reportedly offering free samples of its Anniversary Blend. However, you should be prepared to drop by any branch early in the morning since the promo is only available until noon. Plus, the lines are expected to be very long.

Aside from Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts is also joining the celeb by offering its new blend called Dark Roast the entire day. Everyone can enjoy a sip from free medium cups of Dark Roast as long as they stop by Dunkin Donuts any time this Monday.

Krispy Kreme is also joining Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, but instead of just one type of promo, the famous coffeehouse wants you to take advantage of two.

The chain is offering a free 12 oz. regular coffee, and it is also willing to give you mocha, latte or iced coffee for $1 each, reported FOX CT.

"Did you know that the best way to be more productive at work is to take a break? It's true! I found it on the Internet," Krispy Kreme teases about its National Coffee Day 2014 promos.

If you still want more coffee into your system, McDonald's has got you covered. The fast food chain has actually been pouring small cups of free coffee during its breakfast hours for the past two weeks and the offer is set to end tomorrow. Surely, that's a win-win offer given that National Coffee Day is supposed to be a one-day affair only.

Anyhow, if you are looking for something more adventurous than simply stepping into a shop and asking for free coffee, Tim Hortons has got a very promising deal.

The famous cafe and bake shop revealed on social media that it will be hiding golden envelopes with "more than $9,000 in cash and gift cards."

The said envelopes are strategically concealed in five cities: Columbus, Ohio; Buffalo and Rochester, New York; Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan, and participants must look for them to enjoy bountiful freebies of coffee and more.

Looks like everyone has got a place to go to this National Coffee Day!
