Shah Rukh Khan will be giving his fans in Vancouver another chance to see him on stage live. He was last in Vancouver last year for the Times of India Film Awards. Now, though, he will be making a huge comeback onto Canadian land to headline SLAM! The Tour on Saturday at the Pacific Coliseum.
Shah Rukh Khan is more famously known all over the world as SRK. He was an Indian legendary actor, producer, and singer who has a huge amount of fans in his following. He is only 48 years young, but Shah Rukh Khan is revered as the second richest actor in the world, who is reportedly only topped by the comedian Jerry Seinfeld. He is 48 years old, but his eight-pack abs certainly prove that he is at the peak of his youth.
Shah Rukh Khan has stated that the idea for a world tour only came to him while he was promoting his most recent film, "Happy New Year."
He said during a recent interview, "We have a good set of stars right now. Why don't we just turn it into a tour instead of just coming down, doing a press conference, hanging around, and shopping? Might as well work a little harder and entertain people in America."
Other Indian personalities, such as Sonu Sood, Deepika Padukone, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, and Kanika Kapoor, are among the other famous Bollywood A-listers who will be accompanying Shah Rukh Khan on the highly anticipated SLAM tour.
Shah Rukh Khan also hinted to his fans that they should prepare themselves for "2.5 hours of entertainment for people, which is classy, which is entertaining, which is fun, which is as international as we can."
Tickets for the upcoming SLAM tour range from $86 to $444. Moreover, a huge portion of the ticket proceeds will also be donated to the BC Children's Hospital, according to the tour's organizers. The tour will also be making its stop in New Jersey, Chicago, Houston, San Jose, Washington DC, and London. Plus, according to the organizers, this is also going to be Shah Rukh Khan's first time to appear in the United States in 10 years.
