Christie 85 pounds loss seems to have evolved to being the talk of the town. As reported, Chris Christie apparently lost 85 pounds since he had his lap-band surgery just last year.
The New Jersey governor recently told the donors who participated in the event that was hosted by David Koch, esteemed billionaire, in New York City. As reported by the New York Times, he informed the donors who were there about the weight that he lost after he was adamantly pressed about his health.
The Republican, who might possibly run for a presidential position, has noticeably struggled with his weight for several years. He mentioned that he opted to have the weight loss surgery so that he could attain "long-term health."
According to the New York Times, Christie 85 pounds did not exactly reveal how much he weighs at present. Moreover, an unidentified guest mentioned that Christie 85 pounds even made a joke, saying, "A doctor once told me you have to have the right relationship with the food you eat. And believe me, for many years, I had a great relationship with the food I ate."
The health of possible presidentiables has always been scrutinized by the public eye, and in great detail at that. This is perhaps why there has been so much interest laid on Christie's weight issue. The doctor of Christie 85 pounds, Dr. Rachana Kulkarni, actually released a report last October while Christie was still running for re-election. According to the medical report, Christie has now actually "adopted a healthy lifestyle," such as exercising regularly and adapting to a healthy diet.
During a town hall meeting that was held last May, Christie 85 pounds was complimented by a woman who said that he looks quite "smaller" before she modified her remark and stated that he is "much smaller than I used to be."
