After a successful event in Lilongwe held in December 2011, Skydive Malawi will be hosting Tandem Skydives in Blantyre 25th-26th February 2012. Jumps cost $310, food and Drinks will be available and spectators are welcome. The aircraft are provided by Nyassa Air Taxi, who are actively involved in supporting the sport in Malawi.

Skydive Malawi is part of the Malawi Parachute Association, a non-profit organization created to promote, regulate and support the skydiving sport in Malawi. It was founded in line with international best skydiving practices. A set of safety rules governs all skydiving activities ensuring the sport is practised in a safe manner. The tandem instructors originate from South Africa and Zimbabwe and are highly experienced professional skydivers, who take care of the tandem passenger during their jump.
