Miss Kira Kazantsev might have won the hearts of the citizens of America for her grand win but not everyone has great things to say about the newly crowned Miss America. Despite being a trilingual honor student who's passionate about women's health, the new Miss America hazing issue is making rounds on the web.
The Miss America 2015 might not be as squeaky clean as the press make her to be. Recent reports have now emerged about the new Miss America hazing issue. Kira Kazanstev was reportedly kicked out of her sorority due to "abusive hazing."
In April of 2013, Kira Kazanstev was part of the sorority, Alpha Phi, in Hofstra University located in Long Island. Kira along with her friend served as head of the sorority's recruitment after their fall 2012 semester in Spain. According to the inside reports, Kira made sure to make a living hell out of the recruits' lives by calling pledges of incoming class names, berating them for imperfections and flaws and pressed to perform strenuous physical tasks that often led to exhaustion and bruising.
In hopes of destroying Kira's career after her win, this new Miss America hazing issue certainly is something bashers of Kira had released at a great time. However, despite the new Miss America hazing reports, this didn't affect how the organization of Miss New York and Miss America viewed Kira Kazantsev. The organization sent a statement through Jezebel stating people should instead focus on Kira's achievements and her commitment to service.
With regards to the new Miss America hazing reports, Hofstra's University sorority Alpha Phi remained silent. Kira Kazanstev on the other hand has remained mum about the new Miss America hazing reports. Miss America 2015 or her representatives have yet to speak up or address the issue on the "abusive hazing" reports.
