Jennifer Lawrence And Nicholas Hoult Romance To Fall Out: What Went Wrong?

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult were quite the cute couple. After their friendship in "X-Men" bloomed on screen to a full blown romance off screen, a number of their fans were instantly enamoured by their love story. Yet, following the couples' split, many are asking what exactly went wrong?

Before becoming Chris Martin's alleged new girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence was in a long term relationship with Nicholas Hoult. Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult dated for almost four years. During the four years, Hoult and Lawrence broke up once in the year 2012.

However, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult rekindled their romance early 2013 when they got together for another "X-Men" film. Fans had hoped the split would be the last but they had hoped wrong. Early this year, Hoult and Lawrence announced their "amicable" split.

"They spent a lot of time apart because of work, and it was difficult on their relationship," stated an insider in an exclusive report by E! News.

Various sources claimed other reasons however for the split between Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult. Reports by Mirror claim Hoult got "miffed" at JLaw for choosing to spend time at a Dior Fashion show rather than spend time with him. The couple usually spent time apart due to their careers.

Other reports however add that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult split up due to Kristen Stewart. Hoult and Stewart are both working in the film "Equals," which has gotten JLaw suspicious of the real deal happening between her beau and the "Twilight" actress.

While fans are still hoping for a reconciliation between Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, it might be unlikely. Based on recent reports, Lawrence has clearly fallen for Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin. The actress was recently spotted at the bands' concert in Los Angeles where she was singing to all the songs performed.
