John Travolta has finally addressed the recent claims that were made by his former pilot, Douglas Gotterba. According to Gotterba, he and the star of "Pulp Fiction" used to be lovers.
Gotterba actually used to work for John Travolta's aircraft company back in the 1980s. However, he only spoke about his alleged romantic relationship with his former employer just earlier this year. John Travolta's lawyers, on the other hand, adamantly denied such claims, before they initiated legal proceedings alleging that Gotterba breached a confidentiality clause.
According to the documents that were filed at the Court of Appeal in California, Gotterba used to work for John Travolta's aircraft company, Alto. He worked for the star for six straight years, before deciding to leave in 1987.
John Travolta has recently spoken to The Daily Beast, and he said, "This is every celebrity's Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels. Also, I don't care that much about it. Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it. I think that's why it persists, to some degree."
Gotterba is the latest in a long list of men who have come forward with their claims that they have been intimately involved with John Travolta. Although the "Saturday Night Fever" star does not really care that much about these rumors, he does demand privacy and respect for his family.
John Travolta said, "Sex stuff is always going to be interesting to somebody, but you stay away from family. You really should."
The 60-year-old John Travolta has been married to fellow actress Kelly Preston for over 20 years now. Sadly, they lost their eldest son, Jett, at only 16 years old, when he died after having a seizure while the entire family was out on a holiday back in 2009. Preston gave birth to their third child, named Benjamin, only in 2010.
