The Mockingjay Trailer Official Part 1 has finally been released online. Much to the delight of fans, there are more action packed scenes to look forward to. Here are five important details not to be missed in the Mockingjay Trailer Official.
Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Katniss Everdeen in Suzanne Collin's best-selling novel turned film. If JLaw kicked butt in the first two films, she's way better in the Mockingjay Trailer Official. Fully clothed in black complete with her Mockingjay pin, Katniss manages to take down two Capitol fighting jets with just one arrow.
One other detail in the Mockingjay Trailer Official is the all-white Peeta Mellark in contrast to Katniss Everdeen's all-black outfit. Played by Josh Hutcherson, Peeta is no longer found beside Katniss but is now the Capitol's own "Mockingjay." In the trailer, Peeta pleads with the rebels to give up the fight and "lay down their weapons."
A third detail not to be missed is the presence of Gale Hawthorn played by Liam Hemsworth. Unlike in the first two films where Gale's presence was not much obvious, in the Mockingjay Trailer Official, fans will finally get to see Liam Hemsworth in action.
Fourth detail is a very grey Effie Trinket played by Elizabeth Banks. Same as the grey colour of district 13, gone are the usual splotches of pink and purple on the district 12 tributes' escort. Last detail of course is the presence of the star-studded cast namely the late Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julianne Moore. Despite his death early this year, fans catch a glimpse of Hoffman in the Mockingjay Trailer Official.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is set to hit theatres by November 20 in the UK and November 21 in the US. The film also stars Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin and Jena Malone.
