The latest buzz has it that the former couple, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are now feuding on set. The Vampire Diaries star are reportedly not talking to each other during the series' shoot. To make matters worse, Dobrev is set to leave the hit television series because of Ian Somerhalder.
After Ian Somerhalder called it off with Nina Dobrev, the hunky actor had moved on quickly with another actress who played vampire, Nikki Reed. Both Reed and Somerhalder have been caught on numerous occasions in PDA. While reports claim Nina Dobrev is handling Ian's latest love interest professionally, this appears not to be the case on set.
According to reports by The Hollywood Gossip, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have not been speaking on set. Like their characters on screen, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have got cold feet. Nikki Reed is allegedly to blame as Nina is playing the jealous ex-girlfriend card.
Insiders add that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have been purposely avoiding each other on set. Now, this has been an awkward set for the other actors on the show. With the pressure building up, new reports state that Nina just might leave Vampire Diaries for good. It doesn't help that Ian Somerhalder has been in constant PDA with Nikki Reed whenever she drops by the set.
However, Nina might not have to leave the show because Ian dropped a hint that Vampire Diaries would be on its last season, season 6. Hopefully, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder find a way to make things work on set for the show not to be cancelled.
Fans of the former "Delena" couple of course still hope that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder get back together. Yet, with Nikki Reed in the picture, it is unlikely to happen as Ian had admitted he's happy with his current love life.
