Katy Perry isn't letting the feud reports with Taylor Swift bring her down. In fact, the "Dark Horse" songstress packed quite a show at the Moda Center, Portland Friday night. Taylor Swift's' alleged enemy brought the house down with her impressive dance moves and powerhouse vocals.
First off, Katy Perry has obviously chosen to focus on her career more than on the reports about her feud with Taylor Swift. The fight between Perry and Swift had reportedly started due to the latter's interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Swift had referred to Perry as someone she has "Bad Blood" with, which included sabotaging her tour.
TMZ reports added that Swift's reason for the fight with Perry was due to the former "stealing away" her back-up dancers. However, the three back up dancers were originally employed by Katy Perry before they jumped ship to Taylor Swift. The dancers gave their 30-day notice to Swift following Perry's performance. The move must have affected the country crooner to inspire a diss song for Perry.
As for Katy Perry, the songstress dropped a huge hint which somehow pointed out that it was indeed she who Taylor Swift was referring to in Rolling Stone. On Twitter, the singer had tweeted: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
Putting aside the feud reports, Katy Perry gave an impressive performance at the Moda Center in Portland, Friday night. In fact, in attendance at the event was indie rock legend, Stephen Malkmus. Also at the tour was Perry's tour sponsor, CoverGirl where a venue was placed for fans to take unlimited selfies with the hash tag #InstaGlam.
The "Prism" concert tour at Moda Center was certainly one not to be missed by Katy Perry's "Katy Cats." Other notable moments from the show included flying acrobatic guitars and an emoji poop floating around the area.
