Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, the girlfriend of Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young, is in hot water as reports of the existence of a sex tape featuring her and another guy are swirling all over the internet.
Azalea, who popularized Billboard chart topping single Fancy, is at the center of controversy as of late with Vivid Entertainment president Steven Hirsch claiming he possess the singer's sex tape.
The Aussie singer vehemently denied the report, saying the girl in the video isn't her. However, Azalea's legal representatives may have already changed their stance by indirectly confirming the existence of the tape.
"Iggy's lawyers now tell us ... any sex video would be the work of a "spurned business suitor" -- aka the ex-BF -- who's just trying to damage her image and career out of revenge," according to TMZ
"They also told us any footage was possibly shot "without her knowledge or consent" ... kind of a weird statement -- either it was or it wasn't. The lawyers also say it's possible it was shot when she was a minor."
Hirsch is reportedly offering Azalea a seven-figure payment for the rights to distribute the porn video. However, it appears she wanted to keep everybody curious about the content of the tape forever, as he's planning to sue the mastermind of the video, possibly an ex-lover, and others who would dare to distribute it.
Nick Young Not Happy About Tape
Young, on the other hand, is reportedly not happy with her gf's current situation, and he fears the buzz created by the scandal could distract his concentration in the upcoming NBA season.
"He hates it on so many levels," a source close to Young told Philly.com. "If it is true, he doesn't believe that it is him in the video, he feels terrible for Iggy and what it would do to her career.
"Plus, with the NBA season coming about next month and with him being on the Lakers, he knows so much off-court attention will be brought to it and him, and that is a nightmare scenario for him," the source added. "He really hopes that this is not true, and, if it's true, that it never comes out."
