George Clooney has been a bit private when it came to his present relationship with lawyer Amal Alamuddin. However, just last week, George Clooney made the world know about his love for his fiancé in a very public declaration of his love for the beautiful lady.
George Clooney was actually there to accept an award at the Celebrity Fight Night event that was held in Florence, Italy. However, he just could not stop himself from uttering some very touching words addressed to his soon-to-be wife.
Taking a look at the video, it was highly obvious that George Clooney was very much elated as he gushed about being able to marry Alamuddin. He even said, "I would just like to say to my bride-to-be Amal that I love you very much and I can't wait to be your husband."
One of the witnesses who got to see everything informed E! News, "She seemed so touched and overwhelmed and at that moment they looked right at each other and it was as if there was no one else in the room."
It was actually during the very same speech that George Clooney told the crowd that their upcoming wedding will be taking place in Venice, and not in Lake Como, which was the venue that was previously suspected. He said, "I met my bride-to-be in Italy, and I will be married in Italy soon, in a couple of weeks. In Venice, of all places."
Moreover, Us Weekly has claimed that the celebrity couple will be tying the knot first in London on Friday, with a source that says, "They'll have a civil ceremony on September 12 with their parents present." With this said, many news outlets find it safe to say that the couple will have their big wedding in Venice on September 27.
