The latest buzz states that Michael Jackson's 16-year old daughter is pregnant and is set to be engaged.
The rumour had all begun with a report by the Daily Star. The tabloid's alleged insider claims to have spotted Paris Jackson along with an unnamed male companion. According to the insider, Paris opted to toast with water rather than with wine and had even added that she had a "prominent stomach bulge." This allegation comes soon after reports that Paris was spotted shopping for engagement rings with the alleged boyfriend.
"I saw her at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine. It's highly unusual to toast with anything but a full glass of wine," stated the source in a report by the Daily Star.
Taking the details of the report piece by piece, it's best to start with Paris' choice of drink. The legal age of drinking is 21. Obviously, Paris aged 16 had opted for water. As for the prominent stomach bulge, it could simply be the way she was seated. As for the alleged source being the Daily Star, the tabloid cited their source to be Mediamass.
If one takes time to read the About Us section of the said website, their people section which is mostly about celebrities are simply a parody of gossip magazines. Such stories aren't true. This proves that Paris Jackson is not pregnant nor is she engaged.
Other rumours that have hounded the 16-year old are reports that she's struggling with mental issues. Still unable to cope with the death of her father in 2009, Paris had tried to take her own life in June of 2013. Sources add that Paris Jackson was then admitted to a therapeutic boarding school in Utah called the Diamond Ranch Academy.
