The Apple iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus: Bigger, Slimmer & Better Features

After months of waiting, Apple has finally revealed the iPhone 6. Packed with iOS 8, the iPhone 6 comes in two versions: the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Both phones are bigger, slimmer and packed with better features than its predecessors. Here's everything to know about Apple's latest iPhone 6.

Aside from the size difference between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Retina displays for both phones differ. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen with Retina HD while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch screen with full HD resolution. Both are slimmer, have faster graphic processors, a motion coprocessor, faster LTE and Wi-Fi.

Apple also adds that the new iPhone 6 range promise a longer battery life than the iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. The iPhone 6 has around 11-hours battery life for Wi-Fi while the iPhone 6 Plus promises 12-hours of battery life for Wi-Fi. As for the talk time, the iPhone 6 promises 14 hours while the iPhone 6 Plus offers 24 hours battery life. The camera has also been updated with optical image stabilization and phase detection auto focus for the iPhone 6 Plus.

The great thing about the iPhone 6 is that they still come at the same cost as the old models. iPhone 6 will be sold at the price of $199 for 16 GB storage, $299 for 64 GB storage and $399 for 128 GB storage. On the other hand, iPhone 6 Plus sells at an extra price of $100. It's $299 for the 16 GB storage and $499 for the 128 GB storage.

iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will continue to be sold at a reduced price. As for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, pre-orders will start on September 12 with shipping scheduled on the 19th.
