Ladies' Code member, EunB, whose real name is Koh Eun Bi, has just been killed after the famous pop girl band from South Korea was involved in a fatal car accident on a freeway near Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
The 22-year-old member of Ladies' Code, EunB was killed after the van that the girl group was riding crashed into a protective wall in Suwon at 1:30 a.m. local time. The other members of Ladies' Code, such as Rise and So Jung, were immediately rushed into a nearby hospital. EunB was also rushed to the hospital, but, despite frantic efforts to save her, she passed away. At present, Rise has been reported to be in critical condition.
The label that is handling Ladies' Code, Polaris Entertainment, said in a statement, "After a schedule in Daegu on September 2, Ladies' Code was headed back to Seoul. Around 1: 30 a.m. in Suwon, an issue occurred with the car's back wheel coming off. With the rainy road and wheel coming off, the vehicle spun several time, hitting a guardrail."
The label's spokesperson further added, "Due to this, EunB, unfortunately, passed away. The other members, Rise is in critical condition, while So Jung is injured and hospitalized, currently receiving treatment. The other members, manager, and stylists, who were in the car, did not receive serious injuries."
The statement then continued, addressing the fans of Ladies' Code, "We want to apologize to all the fans and everyone who have received much shock, and we ask for everyone to pray for the quick recovery of the members."
According to a Korean news outlet, The Fact, Rise has just recently come out of surgery at the Ajou University Hospital, after being in surgery for 9 hours. As reported, So Jung is now already in stable medical condition. Rise, on the other hand, remains to be under very close watch for any changes in her medical condition. The Fact has reported that Rise's family is presently on their way from Japan so that they could be right by Rise's side during this sad ordeal.
