According to The Examiner, as the armored truck crashes spilling millions in coins, there were no second thoughts from the people on the streets. The sight of clear plastic bags and the white canvas duffle bags stuffed with money flying out of the truck reportedly quickly drew a crowd. They scrambled around the site on Route 10 in Rhode Island, towards of the bags of cash before police arrived.
The Providence Journal reports Deputy Fire Chief Paul Valletta Jr. saying that the Garda truck was southbound on Route 10 on Saturday afternoon when the driver lost control and the accident occurred. The truck reportedly swerved off the highway and rolled onto its left side on the grass.

According to police, the man was lucky he was not seriously injured. The rollover apparently had money and other objects inside the vehicle loose and flying around.
The Examiner reports that the Garda World Security Corp appears to be having a rough month. The same armored truck company also reportedly had a driver who left a bag of money on top of an armored car as it was pulling away from an Atlantic City, New Jersey casino.
The truck pulled away but the bag was still atop the vehicle according to the casino's security camera. The bag of cash was never seen again and chances are somebody already kept the money after flying off in transit somewhere. The bag reportedly had over $20,000 inside it.
