Pregnant NY Woman Slain: 31-Year-Old Lady and Unborn Daughter Shot to Death Inside Car [WATCH VIDEO]

Pregnant NY woman slain - A soon to be mom was shot to death while she was sitting in her car outside her Bay Shore, Long Island home on Saturday.

Police officers of the Third Precinct reportedly responded to 1737 Stein Drive in Bay Shore, after receiving a 911 call from a person who reported hearing gun shots and finding an unresponsive woman inside a vehicle.

When cops arrived at the site shortly before 9:00 p.m., they reportedly found Milagro G. Canjura, the victim in the pregnant NY woman slain case, shot multiple times inside a 2011 Toyota Camry.

Canjura was then rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore via Brentwood Legion Ambulance.

Unfortunately, both Canjura, who was six months pregnant according to her friends, and her unborn daughter died in the cold bloodied murder dubbed as the pregnant NY woman slain case.

"In cold blood.That's the part that disturbs me. They shot this young lady in cold blood," neighbor Neil Washington told CBS News of the pregnant NY woman slain incident. "And the most disturbing part of this whole thing that was going on last night is to come out to the corner of the yard, and you could actually see her body slumped over. Breaks my heart."

The Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are still investigating the pregnant NY woman slain case. No arrest has been made yet and cops have not released any details on suspects.

Just a week ago, Canjura held a baby shower in her home, where a drive-by shooting also happened three weeks ago, but no one was hurt, CBS News reported.

Childhood friend Mimi Ramirez, told NY Times she had no idea why someone would kill Millie. Ms. Ramirez described her friend as cheerful and full of life, and thrilled to become a mother.
