‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Release, Cast, News: Lead Star Harrison Ford Back on Set After Serious Injury

After two months of taking a break from shooting his part for the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII," Harrison Ford is back properly recovered from a serious injury he suffered from.

Sources told entertainment sites like Entertainment Weekly that the entire cast and crew of the movie are all back to work at the Pinewood Studios after a two week hiatus, not really related to that of the actor's ankle injury.

The 72-year-old actor's proof that he has fully recovered is his most recent participation for the trending ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. He came up with his own video of the challenge and at the same time his reps have confirmed too his comeback on the latest "Star Wars" film set.

He was also seen attending the premiere of "The Expendables 3" and walked down the red carpet event without having anyone to help him, states Eonline.

Ford's injury was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter saying that he got injured by the Millenium Falcon door. It is the spacecraft that his character drives in the previous "Star Wars" movies and all set to make a comeback in the latest sequel. It was reported too that the door fell and struck him which caused a major bone fracture in his left leg.

There were predictions then that the actor's injury would delay the film for as much as six months. However, thanks to the resilience of the Hollywood A-lister, he is back shooting the highly anticipated "Star Wars: Episode VII" movie.

Since his recovery, Lucasfilm together with The Walt Disney Co. insist that their original December 18, 2015 release date may have to be changed.

The "Star Wars: Episode VII" cast also includes other original members like Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and Mark Hamill. It also has newcomers on board like Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie.
