Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's wedding ring has recently become the latest target of the media after the A-list couple surprisingly revealed their marriage which reportedly took place in France on August 23.
It has been nine years since the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" stars began dating after meeting on the set of the said film and now they have finally tied the knot after being engaged for two years and becoming parents of their three biological kids and three adoptive children. The Hollywood was indeed surprise and happy to learn that the pair are officially married to each other. Instead of having a highly publicized union, the couple has opted for a private ceremony in their mansion in France by just having 22 guests.
Many have already speculated that the pair's upcoming wedding will be one of the biggest in Hollywood; but instead of making it a news maker event, Jolie and Pitt preferred to slip each other their rings in front of their selected guests. Reports even said that it was more of a family affair wherein their six kids have a big part.
"It was a non-denominational civil ceremony. It was very much a family affair." A rep of the couple revealed to Us Weekly.
After the couple's low-key nuptial, the media was thrilled to see Pitt coming out in the public for the first time since the weekend event. The 50 year-old actor was spotted in Dorset for a photo call for his latest film, "Fury" wherein he was sporting his wedding ring. Jolie was also seen wearing the same jewel when she arrived in Malta wherein they will be shooting their upcoming reunion film, "By the Sea".
Jolie and Pitt's wedding ring was said to be created by jewelry designer Robert Procop, Us Weekly reports. Procop is also the one whom the actor collaborated with to work on the actress' sparkling diamond engagement ring.
