Joan Rivers hospitalized after going into cardiac arrest while under a certain medical procedure at a doctor's office that is located on the Upper East Side on Thursday morning. According to the reports, Joan Rivers hospitalized is in critical condition, but is believed to be stable.

Details about her prospects of recovery have not yet been provided, as it is speculated that the exact length of time that her body was deprived of oxygen remains unknown. However, her family did release a statement regarding Joan Rivers hospitalized, and it only indicated that Joan Rivers is resting comfortably.

Joan Rivers hospitalized has just recently performed in Manhattan on Wednesday night. She even joked about her mortality during this said show. Several hours after, Joan Rivers hospitalized was reportedly undergoing what was only described as a routine outpatient procedure that was performed on her throat. It was during this procedure that she suddenly stopped breathing. Joan Rivers hospitalized became unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. She was immediately rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Since Joan Rivers hospitalized, there has been tremendous outpouring of support from different areas of show business and also from all over the world.

Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, even rushed from Los Angeles just so she could be by her mother's side. She also spoke on behalf of the family and said in a statement, "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."

According to a source, it was the New York City Fire Department who quickly brought Joan Rivers hospitalized to Mount Sinai Hospital after they got a call that she went into cardiac arrest while at Yorkville Endoscopy.

The spokesperson of Mount Sinai Hospital confirmed that Joan Rivers hospitalized was, indeed, within their premises. Sid Dinsay said, "This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to. Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support. We will provide an update on her condition as it becomes available."
