Bradley Pierce Confess About His Own Depression Following Robin Williams’ Tragic Death

Bradley Pierce recently revealed that he's been suffering from depression for a long time already after the death of his former co-star Robin Williams.

Following the tragic death of Williams earlier this August, the former child star has decided to reveal his own battle. The late actor who was found dead in his apartment after reportedly committing suicide by strapping a belt on his neck has previously worked with the 31 year-old actor in the 1995 film "Jumanji". In his latest interview, the former child star revealed what he has been battling through all these years.

After it was revealed that Williams' death has been partly blamed on the condition that he has been facing for quite some time already, Bradley Pierce never hesitated to reveal his own struggles in depression. He also admitted that his former co-star's death has become his inspiration to reveal his condition in public. In his latest interview with TMZ, the star has said that he has been suffering from the said condition since he was at the age of 16 just a few years after he filmed their movie together.

Although Williams' death has been associated with several theories such as his bankruptcy, addiction to drugs and alcohol, what was believed to be the main triggering factor of him committing suicide is his depression. With that, Bradley Pierce decided to come out and share his own story. Before coming out in public, few people only knew about his struggles with the said condition.

It takes quite a lot of courage for the "Jumanji' star to finally disclose the information of his ongoing battle which already consumed him at a younger age. According to Bradley Pierce, several people only have the idea of the depression that he's dealing with. According to him, among those people who know his secret fight are some of his friends and his wife.
