Trisha Yearwood comeback - After taking a seven-year break, the singer has just announced that she is finally dropping her 12th studio album titled "PrizeFighter," and she is also set to once again hit the road with a tour following the release of her new work, E! Online reported.
Trisha Yearwood's comeback announcement reportedly came after her husband Garth Brooks, announced that he is coming out of retirement with a new album and worldwide tour as well.
The CMA and Grammy award winner broke the good news Tuesday night, also saying has signed a new record deal with Sony Nashville after her long hiatus.
During the party held to celebrate the cookbook author, Food Network star and singer's return to Nashville, Yearwood could't help but tell her friends and colleagues how nervous she is. "I haven't been out of the house in a while! There's so much going on my management team has to text me every 30 minutes to tell me where to be and what I'm doing," she said.
Aside from Trisha Yearwood's comeback to music which includes an appearance in Brooks' much anticipated world tour, that kicks off on Sept. 4 in Chicago, she will also be introducing the fifth season of her Emmy-award winning "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" show on Aug. 23, which will be followed with the launching of her new line of Trisha's Precious Metals cookware on QVC, and the publishing of her third cookbook this spring.
The release date of Trisha Yearwood's comeback album is yet to be announced, but she has already given her fans hints on what her new music will be all about.
According to her, the title track tells "about beating the odds, about fighting no matter what and about winning" in the end. She added that her new album will deliver the message that people "need to hear" and she is "so happy to be back" and to be doing what she love."As long as you're having fun doing what you're doing, you have to keep on doing it," she said, People has learned.
