The world's smallest woman ever has just joined the cast of the fourth season of FX's anthology series "American Horror Story."
Showrunner Ryan Murphy, made the announcement about the world's smallest woman ever working with him, via Twitter Wednesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Indian-born Jyoti Amge, also known as the world's smallest woman ever, will be appearing in the season four of the series, subtitled "Freak Show," which is set in Jupiter, Fla., in the 1950s.
Amge will join lead star Jessica Lange, who will play a German expat overseeing one of the last remaining freak shows in the country. Other stars reprising their roles in the show are Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe and ng others.
Also joining the world's smallest woman ever as AHS newcomers are John Carroll Lynch ("Fargo"), Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley ("The Hunger Games") , Finn Wittrock ("The Normal Heart") and recent addition Patti LaBelle.
Jyoti Amge, 20, was dubbed as the world's smallest woman ever by the Guinness Book of World Records. Measuring a height of 2 feet, 0.6 inches, she is said to have earned the title on her 18th birthday.
Her stagnant growth in size is reportedly attributed to a genetic anomaly called achondroplasia, or a form of short-limbed dwarfism, characterized by an average-size trunk, short arms and legs with particularly short upper arms and thighs, limited range of motion at the elbows and an enlarged head with a prominent forehead.
Amge's AHS role is said to be her latest Hollywood venture, as she is not really new to the world of entertainment. She was once featured in the 2009 documentary "Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen," and appeared as a guest the Indian Big Brother-like TV show "Bigg Boss 6," Deadline has learned.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" premiere's October, with the specific date yet to be announced.
