SINKHOLE CAR PENNSYLVANIA - MASSIVE SINKHOLE DEVOURS CAR OUTSIDE PENNSYLVANIA TANNING SALON [WATCH VIDEO]

Sinkhole Car Pennsylvania: A massive sinkhole has devoured a car outside a tanning salon in Ross Township, Pennsylvania Tuesday.

According to several reports about the sinkhole car Pennsylvania, the vehicle's owner, Natalie Huddleston, was backing out of a parking space outside Hollywood Tans at around 4:30 p.m., when she heard a "thunk" and felt her car start to wobble back and forth.

A massive sinkhole filled with water had opened up in the parking lot of the salon, the Allegheny County Police dispatcher said, Reuters has learned.

"I got in the car, I backed up, I felt a thunk, and all of a sudden I was tilted and I felt movement, I was swaying, I kept drifting back and realized I was stuck in this hole," Huddleston, an Allegheny High School teacher, told Ralph Ianotti of KDKA.

She said she called salon owner Lisa Masley, to come out and help her and she was able to escape through the car window.

"When I went out to help her, I kept thinking, "Don't stand too close." I was a little nervous when I was out there. And as soon as we got her out, we just ran into the salon," Masley said, recalling the incident.

Just seconds after Huddleston got out of the vehicle, her car was swallowed full into the sinkhole.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and Huddleston was reportedly hospitalized after.

"I'm in shock, this is not happening, my car is gone, I'm stuck here, how am I going to get out of work," she said.

Huddleston's car, a 2002 Saturn, was recovered from the sinkhole late Tuesday night. A 48-60 inch drain runoff pipe that had collapsed during heavy rains, had caused the sinkhole, work crews said.

In an update about the sinkhole car Pennsylvania news, authorities have estimated the length of the hole to be about 50-feet long, and 20-feet wide - a measurement that is said to be about three times the size of a car.
