Top 5 Shows to Start Watching

One of the most popular ways to decompress after a big work day would be to plop on the couch and turn on the television to catch a few episodes of your favorite show. For those of us who like to indulge in television, we get sort of sad after your favorite show ends. You start to feel hopeless, that you will never get as attached to a show as you did to the last.

Here is a list of a few shows that you should start watching right away.

1.) New Girl: This is a show for the dramedy craving individuals. For those of you who were obsessed with shows like Friends and How I Met Your Mother, this is definitely the show to start watching. This show stars big time actress Zooey Deschanel and up and coming actor Jake Johnson.

2.) The Big Bang Theory: This show didn't really get all its popularity until two seasons ago, but it has really caught on with the public. The actors all signed a contract for at least three more seasons, so this one will be around for a little bit longer! For a good belly laugh, definitely watch this show. Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons could make even the grumpy cat crack a smile.

3.) Dating Naked: Everyone needs at least one reality show indulgence. Reality television can make you be very thankful for your life. Dating Naked is one of the most interesting takes on dating, and you will be pleasantly surprised with the innocent fun of the show.

4.) Awkward: This show is possibly the most relatable high school show ever created. MTV is famous for starting shows and having them canceled after just one season. Awkward, however, has stayed on for multiple seasons and has such a relatable cast. It's perfect for the dramatic high school comedy lovers.

5.) The Mindy Project: Another show about a single early thirties female looking for love. However, this one is absolutely hilarious. Mindy Kahling is a comedic genius, and this show proves it. You will definitely fall in love with this modern day Carrie Bradshaw.
