Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri Martino, 29, welcomed her first child with husband Kyle Martino, 33, over the weekend, her rep confirmed to People.
On Saturday, Aug. 9, Susan Sarandon's daughter gave birth to an adorable baby girl Marlowe Mae Martino, who weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz.
"Both she and her husband, NBC sports analyst, Kyle Martino, are thrilled and enjoying the new addition to their family," Amurri's rep said.
The ecstatic new parents also took to Twitter to announce that their bundle of joy has already come to the world.
"What a weekend! @kylemartino are thrilled to announce the arrival of our sweet baby girl!" Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva, wrote. "Mama and Daddy love you a zillion, Marlowe Mae."
"Can't believe I'm a dad!!! @4EvaMartino and I are over the moon in love with our little girl Marlowe. #Love," added Kyle on his Twitter page.
Of course, along with the fact that Eva Amurri Martino is now officially a mother, Susan Sarandon is now also a grandmother too. However, the cool granny said she doen't want to be called "grandma."
"I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who's from the South, and his grandma was 'Honey,'" Sarandon said.
In February, Amurri announced that she and her hubby were expecting their first child by tweeting: "Happy Valentines day to my heart, my hero, my BABYDADDY @kylemartino!!!! I love you so much."
A month later, Susan Sarandon's daughter revealed the gender of their baby by posting a picture of mommy-and-me shoes with the caption: "Who run the world? GIRLS! #BabyGirlMartino,"
Meanwhile, the 67-year-old actress shared to Us Weekly in March how she had helped her daughter prepare for their baby's arrival.
"We bought this gliding chair. I had used a rocking chair, but now they have these chairs that glide. You can sleep in it practically. So that's what she got for her birthday from me. I think that even when I was having a baby myself and even after I had two babies myself, that you can't even grasp the reality of it until that baby is there."
