Rory McIlroy seems to be in high-spirits after his split with former fiancée Caroline Wozniacki that he has done well in his tournaments.
Despite of the fact that the pro golfer is broken-hearted after calling off his engagement to the tennis player way back in May, it seems like he's been doing good in his career since the split. The former couple has been dating for nearly three years and has become engaged on New Year's Eve of 2014; however, it seems like the Irish guy that is not yet ready. According to reports, the engagement has been called off just weeks after the golfer realized that he's not yet ready for marriage just when he was finished sending invitations; the tennis player even reportedly tried different wedding gowns.
Although it has been a huge emotional struggle for Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki, the golfer was still able to focus on his game and even soar with it. He was then able to prove that despite of the pain and sudden split he had from his previous partner, he's still able to manage himself to be on track. Since his split with the pro tennis player, he was able to succeed in different tournaments such as in the BMW PGA Championship, The Open Championship and also the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Rory McIlroy was recently asked about the status of his game and how does it relate to his status of being single after his split from Caroline Wozniacki.
"I've put a little bit more time into my golf and it's refocused me in a way," the player said about his recent progress.
After the former couple's split, it's not just actually Rory McIlroy, who has been lucky in his game since Caroline Wozniacki was also able to give her best shots after the cancelation of their wedding. Months ago, the former couple was able to win in their different games on the same day.
