Top 5 Essentials for Back to School Shopping

It's that time of year again, the dreaded month of August that goes by way too quickly. August is notorious for the extremely hot weather and of course...back to school shopping. Here are some things to add to your list for back to school to make the transition from relaxing summer to stressful school.

1.) A fancy planner. Many schools cut off giving the students free planners after their freshman year of high school. A planner is something every student needs; it just makes life so much easier. With a planner it is easier to juggle your schoolwork, work schedule, and your social life. Buy a fun looking planner with your favorite pattern or celebrity on it to make it a little more fun to look at every day.

2.) A great pair of jeans. Jeans can be ridiculously expensive, but when you buy a bargain pair they will most likely shrink up on you in the dryer the second time you wash them. A pair of jeans is something you should spend a decent amount of money on, as this will probably be the biggest staple in your closet for the year.

3.) A cute new thermos. Most people like to have a warm beverage with breakfast, whether it is coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. This new thermos will make your mornings a little easier when you see how decorated your sunrise caffeine is.

4.) A manicure and pedicure. Every girl should treat herself a little before jumping right back into the stress of school. Getting your hands and feet massaged, and perfectly polished will put you in such a good mood and you will be able to show off your new nails holding your newly purchased thermos as well.

5.) A pen fit for a princess. It sounds kind of crazy to dedicate a whole number to a pen, but when you think about it, you will probably use this pen for most of your school day. Make sure it is comfortable as well as cute. Psychology studies have proven that students retain more knowledge when they write with blue ink, remember that when you shop for this item.
