Miss Teen USA 2014 title has been awarded to K. Lee Graham, Miss South Carolina. The new Miss Teen USA 2014 impressed the panel of judges with her amazing beauty, charisma, and intelligence during the annual beauty pageant last Saturday night.
Miss Teen USA 2014 gushed, "I can't even talk right now. This is literally a dream come true. Thank you for supporting me. We did it!"
For nearly two hours, the new Miss Teen USA 2014, along with her fellow candidates, were put through a relatively tricky question-and-answer portion. In addition to this session, the contestants were also asked to parade through the catwalk wearing only their bikinis. Many believe that the competition the candidates had to go through was pretty cutthroat.
The Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant was held at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. During the first part of the pageant, only 15 among the 51 contestants were able to proceed into the pageant's semi-finals. Those who were lucky enough to move on had to compete against each other once again in the highly awaited bikini portion. In this segment of the contest, another 10 ladies were cut.
The five ladies left to vie for the Miss Teen USA 2014 crown were Miss Pennsylvania, Miss Mississippi, Miss New Jersey, Miss California, and Miss South Carolina. These were the ladies who had to go through the highly entertaining question-and-answer portion.
Fortunately everyone, no one had to cringe from the answers of the candidates. There were, however, some very impressive and memorable answers.
Miss California was asked about the place where she would most likely go to if ever she was made invisible. She was quick to answer that she would like to go "invisible" inside the White House, plainly because she was a huge fan of the top-rated TV series, "Scandal."
Miss Pennsylvania was adamantly against parents who gave their high school kids alcoholic drinks at home once prom night was over.
Miss New Jersey discussed about how she thought beauty pageants were a wonderful competition to take part in.
At the end of the night, the judges just could not resist Miss South Carolina's innate charm. Still, though, if ever the new Miss Teen USA 2014 could not live up to the expectations that are asked of her, the competition's runner-up, Miss Mississippi, is the one to take over the Miss Teen USA 2014 spot.
