Lauryn Hill has always been regarded for being straight forward. She oftentimes gets straight to point, no matter what it was that was on her mind. However, in her recent concert that was held in Chicago, many believe that Lauryn Hill might have taken things a tad bit too far.
A Lauryn Hill video has just made its way to the online grapevine, showing the famed "That Thing" singer in a sort of argument with a fan. In the video, Lauryn Hill was accusing the fan of heckling her on July 16. As a result, she instructed security to remove the offender from the premises of the concert.
Unfortunately, however, the video did not show anything about any heckling. It just showed Lauryn Hill's reaction to the fan. The fact that she got the fan removed immediately by the security team caused a lot of awkward vibes during the remaining period of the concert.
Lauryn Hill said this during her concert, "I don't play that. I don't need to win you over and you don't need to win me over. I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything. You understand that? I do this because I love it. You can get on your blogs and you can tweet and say whatever you want to. I don't give a rat's a*s."
Later, Lauryn Hill then addressed the security personnel and said, on the microphone, "Excuse me. Excuse me. There's a gentleman over there who just did something I don't like. Can you please escort him out and refund him his money?"
Apparently, the heckler shouted loudly about how Lauryn Hill showed up on stage almost an hour late. The show was held at the House of Blues in Chicago, and Lauryn Hill showing up nearly an hour late might have pissed off several of the show's guests, who, in turn, have paid good money to be entertained and not to be left standing and waiting.
