Colbie Caillat may be one of the most in demand talents in the music industry, but she recently admitted that she also has these insecurities particularly when she was working on her music video for her latest single, "Try".
The singer's latest song talks about boosting self-esteem by being the real you and by being comfortable with your own skin without the use of any aesthetics. It has been one way or another of campaigning those women especially of today's generation to feel more comfortable about their original looks or beauty. The said video has reportedly gone viral in YouTube with already more than 17 million views.
The YouTube-hit video shows the singer being joined by several other women whose faces were first covered with make-up, but as the video progresses, the women can be seen taking it off and only wearing their bare natural skin. The singer also did the same as she removes her aesthetics and exposing her true beauty in the video; however, it has been reportedly not easy for her. Although Colbie Caillat tries to impose the thought of being confident with one's true self, she has also expressed her own insecurities.
It has been admitted by the singer that while filming the film, she felt a little conscious about herself. According to her, she has been used of wearing make-up and being Photoshopped and when she was there, exposing her real beauty while making the music video, Colbie Caillat said that there's that insecurities flooding her.
"I'm used to always being Photoshopped and caked on with makeup, and when I started out with no makeup and I was just sitting there with these lights on and everyone was looking at me on the cameras, I was just all insecurities." she said.
Although Colbie Caillat has shared her thought of insecurities, the YouTube video reportedly received lots of positive notes.
