Kirstie Alley 2014's sitcom back was just short-lived. Her sitcom, entitled "Kirstie,' features Kirstie Alley 2014 as a Broadway actress named Madison Banks who reunites with her son, whom she decided to put up for adoption several years ago. This new series of Kirstie Alley 2014's has actually reunited her with her former co-star in "Cheers," Rhea Perlman. "Kirstie" also starred Eric Petersen and Michael Richards of "Seinfeld."
Although Kirstie Alley 2014 has a loyal following, TV Land has decided to bring down the axe on the sitcom, despite having aired for only one season.
The show "Kirstie" bowed last December and experienced a behind-the-scenes shakeup just in February when the creator of the show, Marco Pennette, decided to leave the show.
Although TV Land has already decided to cancel Kirstie Alley 2014's new sitcom, the network is still resuming its relatively aggressive push into scripted comedies. In fact, rumor has it that the Viacom cabler has plans to green-light a project that is top-lined by Jim Gaffigan.
Kirstie Alley 2014 took to her personal Twitter account to express her momentary disappointment on the cancellation. She wrote, "It takes me exactly 24 hours to recover from shitty news...not bad for tragedy... J #RISE (you have 24 hours)... ;)"
Instead of wallowing in her sadness, however, Kirstie Alley 2014 has decided to turn her attention to philanthropy. She then tweeted, "Planning Christmas...always cheers me up...A little different this year...NO gifts in our out...We wanna build a water well in Africa."
It has been quite a long time since Kirstie Alley 2014 was last seen on TV with a huge role. In fact, the last time she had a long-running acting role was when she was cast as Rebecca Howe on the internationally famous and critically acclaimed sitcom "Cheers."
Also, her most recent success in TV came on "Dancing with the Stars." She was on the show as a contestant during the show's 12th season. Sadly, however, Kirstie Alley 2014 did not win the season. Still, she and her dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, were able to get the runner-up spot.
