The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 trailer has just been released. Some shorter clips of President Snow's propaganda have already gone viral since their release, but this latest video showcases the 1st actual footage from the penultimate installment of the internationally renowned franchise.
The two previous teasers of the movie, "Together As One" and "Unity", only showed Donald Sutherland seated on a white throne, showcasing his propaganda speeches on behalf of "the Capitol."
The most awaited The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 happens in the aftermath of the 2nd movie installment "Catching Fire." In The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1, Katniss Everdeen, amazingly played by Jennifer Lawrence, has become the face of a burgeoning rebellion against the despotic regime of the merciless President Snow.
Looking at this new trailer, it can be determined that the people of the Capitol are upset over the events that happened, as shown in the 1st two films. Katniss has been made the face of the rebellion, and will be taking the lead in it, whether she likes it or not. Moreover, Seymour Hoffman does most of the narration, which means that Lionsgate will not be hiding his presence on account of his sudden and unexpected death just last February.
The main characters featured in the 1st two Hunger Games films will be returning, namely, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Toby Jones, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Francis Lawrence, the helmer of "Catching Fire" is also back on his directing prowess. The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1 will be out in the UK on the 21st of November. The final film to be made of this famous franchise, The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2 will be out next year.
