"Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 may just be the most revealing event of the show yet. Apparently, the popular show has been adding new cast members for Season 5 since each season leaves many off its cast members killed. This time, it was in the event "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 on Friday that HBO has chosen to reveal their slew of new actors for Season 5, many of which playing members of the Martell family, reports Time.
According to the New York Daily News, it was showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss who revealed the new cast during "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 in San Diego. The revelation was highlighted by former Bond villain Jonathan Pryce, as well as a blooper reel from the usually grave cast members.
Apart from Pryce, another treat for fans or geeks during "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 was the revelation that "Star Trek" alum Alexander Siddig will be joining the cast of the HBO fantasy hit as well.
With the announcement at "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014, it seems that there will be more potential victims to be killed off on the next season of the fantasy series.
Attending geeks were definitely overjoyed upon knowledge of Siddig joining the HBO cast. The NY Daily News said he is signed up to play Dornish ruler Doran Martell, brother to the late Prince Oberyn played by Pedro Pascal. Meanwhile, Pryce will portray the High Sparrow, of which HBO described as 'a devout and pious man (who) came to King's Landing to serve those forgotten by much of the world - the poor, the downtrodden and the infirm.'
As he will reportedly amass a large following with his devotion, 'His fellow believers have swarmed over the city, ministering to the lowest and decrying the corruption of the highest.'
Other new cast members revealed in the "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 for the show's Season 5 were Keisha Castle-Hughes, nominated for an Academy Award as a 13-year-old for 2002's "Whale Rider," playing Obara Sand, the warrior daughter of Prince Oberyn; Jessica Henwick and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers will play her sisters, Nymeria and Tyene Sand, respectively.
DeObia Oparei has been casted as Areo Hotah, 'the long-serving captain of Doran Martell's palace guard, renowned for his loyalty and his longaxe,' while Myrcella, Cersei's daughter, was reportedly recast from Aimee Richardson to 14-year-old Nell Tiger Free.
The full list of the new cast as revealed in the "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014 is as follows:
- Alexander Siddig as Doran Martell, the older brother of Prince Oberyn
- Toby Sebastian as Trystane Martell, Doran's son
- Nell Tiger Free as Myrcella Baratheon, Cersei and Jaime Lannister's eldest child
- DeObia Oparei as Areo Hotah, the captain of Doran Martell's palace guard
- Enzo Cilenti as Yezzan, a former slave trader
- Jessica Henwick as Nymeria Sand, second eldest of Oberyn Martell's bastard daughters
- Rosabell Laurenti Sellers as Tyene Sand, another daughter of Oberyn
- Keisha Castle-Hughes as Obara Sand, Oberyn's eldest daughter of
- Jonathan Pryce as the High Sparrow, a religious leader in King's Landing

Apart from the cast revelation at the San Diego "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014, fans were given a peek at some of the bloopers from the cast of Season 4. The Independent described the reel as the fans' 'favourite characters as they have never been seen before.'
One scene shows Pedro Pascal's Prince Oberyn nearly setting himself on fire with a flaming torch. In another, Aryra trips over her legs during swordplay, and has actress Maisie Williams and Rory McCann playing The Hound, laughing their pants off.
The Independent singles out one funny moment in the blooper reel shown in "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014. It was when the prim and proper Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke, said to her captain Daario Naharis in a cockney accent: 'I'm a khaleesi not a queen, for f**k's sake, mate.'
The two-minute video was unveiled during "Game of Thrones" Comic Con 2014, with the show's panel composed of their cast and crew.
