Will Morgan Freeman Marry His 27 Year-Old Granddaughter? Rumors Claim They've Been Dating For 10 Years [PHOTOS]

A recent absurd story recently surfaced claiming that Morgan Freeman is set to marry his granddaughter from his first wife.

There have been gossips saying that the award-winning actor is actually having a secret relationship with E'Dena Hines, who happens to be a descendant of his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. The 74 year-old actor is said to be keeping his romantic relationship with Hines under wraps since many would surely negatively react to it. Rumor even went too far when it claimed that the secret couple will be soon tying the knot.

Malicious story of the veteran actor marrying Hines is quite definitely unacceptable for some people. Aside from the obvious wide age gap between the two, it is even weird that they would eventually develop that romantic relationship since they have already considered each other as family. Although Morgan Freeman and his step granddaughter are not really related by blood, the alleged romantic relationship between them will surely receive mixed reactions from their families and friends.

Details of the said rumor even suggested that the alleged couple have been already together for 10 long years and is really taking marriage as a consideration in their relationship. According to the previous report from TMZ, the actor has kept his silence and stopped himself from commenting on the issue which actually already emerged years back after his messy divorce with second wife Myrna Colley-Lee happened in 2009.

It seems like Morgan Freeman already had enough of the rumors romantically linking him to his 27 year-old granddaughter that he already decided to issue his formal statement especially now that he believes that the mainstream media is already picking up the wrongful story while hines already expressed that her that the rumors have hurt her and her family.

"The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers." Freeman said.
