The self-titled Shakira garnered positive critical reception, although it only made its way to number 14 in the UK album charts. The album has reportedly received Diamond sales certification in her native Colombia. It had 200,000 units sold already.
Meanwhile, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated the star on the Shakira Facebook record. He posted on her wall saying, 'Congrats! What an amazing milestone for an amazing person.'
According to the AFP, Shakira's Facebook page usually has photos and footage of her performing on stage, or at home with her husband and their son.
