Tim McGraw tour guests have certainly stepped up with their attempts at being able to touch, and for others, grab, their beloved idols. A reported stated that Tim McGraw "instinctively swatted" at a fan who just refused to let go of his leg. The fan was reportedly clinging to Tim McGraw's leg during the finale of his Tim McGraw tour at Atlanta just last week.
The reported said in a statement, "At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd. He instinctively swatted to try and keep them from ripping his jeans, and so he could get to more fans who were trying to slap hands with him before the end of the show."
Unfortunately for Tim McGraw, the clingy fan succeeded at damaging his jeans despite the swatting that the musician did. The source added, "He didn't know who had grabbed him and was simply trying to keep his pants from being torn."
The fan's clutching prowess and Tim McGraw's swatting response have been captured on video, which has actually gone viral. The footage is a bit shaky, particularly as Tim McGraw walks down a catwalk before the audience while singing "Truck Yeah." As seen in the video, a woman suddenly reaches out with what was left of her energy and grabs the side of his leg in a slap-like manner. She does this twice. She hits his knee the 1st time, removes her hand, and then does it a 2nd time. Tim McGraw reacts and swats at the hand shortly after. The woman was then escorted away from the stage.
The famous Tim McGraw Tour "Sundown Heaven Town" will resume until the end of August.
