Watch Video of Dead Girl Waking Up During Her Funeral

A Youtube video of a three-year old Filipina girl waking up in a coffin during her funeral has become viral, sparking debate among netizens on several social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

The incident happened in a small town of Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur in the southernmost part of the Philippines. According to the town's Chief of Police Heidil Teelan, the girl was clinically pronounced dead after experiencing severe fever over the weekend.

Teelan admitted they were not the proper authority to confirm the child's medical case, but the staff in the town's clinic declared the young patient dead after discovering that she had no more pulse last Saturday.

"During that time, the attending clinic personnel and physician confirmed that the young patient had no more pulse and was clinically dead last Saturday morning about 9 a.m.," Teelan said in an interview with Philippine Star.

The Police officer added that the girl's parents immediately prepared for her funeral service the next day in the town's church. However, the place of the funeral turned into a scene of miracle after one of the neighbors saw the girl's head still moving inside her coffin.

"Teelan said based on the accounts of the residents who joined the funeral service, one of the neighbors who removed the cover of the coffin to arrange the supposed remains saw the head of the girl move," according to the Philippine Star.

The parents immediately tried to check the girl's vital sign and then confirm that the child was still alive. The girl reportedly received medical attention at the clinic before she was brought back home. However, police personnel believed the girl was still in comatose state.

"We really can not make confirmation on the status of the girl but based on the observation of the police personnel I deployed it appear the girl remained in a state of comatose in their house," Teelan added.

Miracle from God

Though this was not the first account of dead people waking up, the case of the three-year old was somewhat unique because it happened inside a church. Many local folks believed the event was a manifestation of God's power, giving the girl another chance to live in this world.
