World Cup Final has a billion viewers today, as Germany takes on Lionel Messi's team, Argentina in the field. The World Cup Final is most likely the biggest sports event today. In fact, even today's NBA stars have stayed tuned and are hooked to the World Cup Final updates.

LeBron James has just arrived in Brazil as he wanted to personally watch the match between two very strong football-playing nations. Plus, shortly after he got to Brazil, he sized up the awaited World Cup Final and stated that it trumps the NBA Finals, hands down.

LeBron James said, about the World Cup Final, on Saturday, one day after he made his official announcement of returning to his home team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, "This is the highest you can get. This is bigger than the NBA Finals in the sense that it's the world and you have so many countries here."

Upon his arrival, he met with a few hundred fans in a huge warehouse in Guanabara Bay. He watched some young Brazilians show off some of their skills in basketball.

LeBron James is reportedly going to be at the Maracana Stadium to watch the World Cup Final match, but he refuses to say who he thinks will win it. He said, "I'm not sure. I think Germany is the better overall team, but Argentina has one of the best players in the world - maybe the best, Messi. So, that's why we play the game and we'll see what happens. I hope it's a great one."

He is actually a minority investor in Premier League club Liverpool. Although he is a globally famous basketball star, he admits that he is an avid follower of football. He said, "I've been watching it from home in the States and it's been an unbelievable tournament."

LeBron James did not go to Brazil to watch the World Cup Final alone, as he is spotted walking around Brazil with his Brazilian Cavaliers teammate Anderson Varejao. In fact, he had admitted that he just cannot wait to start playing for Cleveland once again.
