Cooper Harris Toxicology: Results Revealed In Death Of Baby’s Hot Car Death

Cooper Harris toxicology report details have been released. Cooper Harris is the 22-month-old boy who died after his father left him in a hot car in Cobb County on Jun. 18. Now, the new results of Cooper Harris toxicology report is being released to the public following speculations that the boy's father, 33-year-old Justin Ross Harris, may have drugged his son before the boy was left in the car.

According to WTVR, many reports and case followers have been baffled by the baby's death. People have been puzzled as to how a 22-month-old baby endured the heat without crying or acting out. Case investigators performed Cooper Harris toxicology following beliefs that the baby may have been drugged before his terrible death inside the hot car.

Investigators had done a test to determine the chemical compounds inside the boy's body. Now the results of Cooper Harris toxicology report have finally been revealed, reports First Coast News.

However, the results of Cooper Harris toxicology may surprise many as the Jul. 10 report showed that the outcome was a negative.

Apparently, Cooper Harris had neither medications nor sedation agents given to him on the day of his death.

Ross Harris, the father, has already been charged with felony murder and cruelty to a child in the second-degree in consequence of the Jun. 18 death.

According to experts, the clean report of Cooper Harris toxicology does not help the prosecution as it reduces their chances to argue that the death was premeditated. Still, experts say that the results of Cooper Harris toxicology are not entirely pivotal in the case.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Harris' wife Leanna was spotted for the second time at the office of her husband's defense lawyer. On Tuesday, WXIA cameras saw Cooper's mother visit Cobb County jail, where Ross is being held.

On Jul. 3, Ross Harris was denied bond during a court hearing where he faced a judge and Det. Phil Stoddard with regard to the details surrounding the death of Cooper Harris.

Curiously enough, the majority of the hearing produced no effect on both Justin and his wife Leanna, despite horrific details said during the hearing. Justin Harris was allegedly texting 6 different women and frequenting a "child-free" sub-Reddit (an internet website where people go to talk and play anonymously), while his son was baking inside his hot car.

Another big development in the case was when investigators revealed that Justin and Leanna had placed a $27k life insurance policy out for their son.

Cooper Harris toxicology may not help prosecution, but it apparently does not affect the case as much.
