Harry Potter fans' imagination has been relived during the opening day of the Diagon Alley in Universal Orlando Resort.
Thousands of people have been waiting several hours before the gates of the latest attraction have been opened for viewing. The Harry Potter-themed expansion park has been a long wait for the fans of both the novel and the book as it showcase every attraction that the popular spot from the world famous story. Both the book and the Harry Potter films from the first up to its seventh installment has been a blockbuster hit worldwide; so, it's quite expected that the fans of the legendary young wizard will visit the latest attraction.
The signature attraction, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts has been opened for the public view on Tuesday. According to the reports, the newly added attraction opened its gates at around 5:45 a.m. for the guests to start lining up. Visitors coming from the different parts of the state were already there at an early hour just to become the first to enter the premises of the amusement park.
Thousands rushed in as the line started to build up, but it took several more hours for the guests to finally enter the park. The opening day of the Diagon Alley in Universal Orlando has been jam-packed by guests where some of them were wearing Hogwarts uniform. Its creation gives life to the numerous spots found in the book which includes the Leaky cauldron pub and the Gringotts bank.
There were also the enchanted wans that moves or light up on command. To make fans happy, author J.K. Rowling just added a short story telling about Harry's reunion with his friends at the Quidditch World cup now that he's 30 years old during the park's opening day in Universal Orlando. One of the park's notable features is the fire-breathing dragon. Reports say that the entire Diagon Alley has an estimated cost of $250 million.
