Dubai Climate Controlled City Is Epic! Developer Shares DETS!

Dubai's climate controlled city is obviously one-of-a-kind, with its unique temperature-controlling system and luxurious facets. But what will comprise this ambitious project?

Dubai Holding, the developer of the soon-to-be built Dubai climate controlled city, has recently spoken to the media about the interesting bits and info about the Middle Eastern giant's biggest project to date.

Dubai's climate controlled city is said to feature the biggest mall in the world with an indoor park as well as a string of luxurious hotels, theaters and health resorts.

The country, which currently houses the biggest indoor shopping complexes in the entire world, is said to be gearing for the world's largest mall, which is going to be called the "Mall of the World," as part of the Dubai climate controlled city.

Moreover, the grandiose project is going to be the country's largest since all-pedestrian complex under the Dubai climate controlled city will occupy a total area of 48 million square feet or 4.45 million square meters.

The climate-controlled Dubai city "will comprise the largest indoor theme park in the world" under a glass dome that would be opened during winter, the developer, which is owned by Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, dished in a statement.

Additionally, the developer also revealed that the seven-kilometer-long promenades connecting the facilities in the Dubai climate controlled city would be covered and fully air-conditioned during the summer season.

"Our ambitions are higher than having seasonal tourism. Tourism is key driver of our economy and we aim to make the UAE an attractive destination all year long," Sheikh said of the big project.

"This is why we will start working on providing pleasant temperature-controlled environments during the summer months," Sheikh added.

The date of the construction of the Dubai climate controlled city has not yet been confirmed as per the official statement issued by the developer on Saturday.

Nevertheless, the Middle Eastern country already has high hopes for the glitzy project such that they already projected a boost of 180 million in their annual visitors because of the "Mall of the World."

Dubai is home to the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa. It has bested Brazil, Turkey, and Russia last November for the right to host the World Expo trade fair in 2020.
